Die New Boston Railroad (NBR) ist eine ehemalige Eisenbahngesellschaft in New Hampshire (Vereinigte Staaten).

Geschichte

Die Gesellschaft wurde am 19. Februar 1891 gegründet und baute eine 8,35 Kilometer lange Zweigbahn nach New Boston, die in Parker von der Strecke der Manchester and North Weare Railroad abzweigte. Die normalspurige Strecke ging am 26. Juni 1893 in Betrieb. Bereits fünf Tage vorher pachtete die Concord and Montreal Railroad die kleine Bahn für zunächst 99 Jahre. 1895 ging der Leasingvertrag auf die Boston and Maine Railroad über, die in den 1920er Jahren den Personenverkehr und 1937 auch den Güterverkehr einstellte.

Fahrplan

Der Fahrplan vom 28. September 1913[3] sah nur zwei werktägliche Personenzugpaare auf der Strecke vor, von denen eines bis Manchester durchfuhr. Die Reisezeit zwischen Parker und New Boston betrug zwischen 12 und 20 Minuten, der Zwischenbahnhof in Lang wurde durch die Personenzüge nicht bedient.
