Die Oblast Lipezk (russisch Липецкая область/ Transkription Lipezkaja oblast) ist eine Oblast im südlichen Russland.

Der Don durchfließt die Oblast, die in der Osteuropäischen Ebene liegt. Bedeutende Verkehrsstrecken durchqueren das Gebiet, so zum Beispiel die Verbindung Moskaus mit dem Nordkaukasus.

Die wichtigsten Industriezweige sind die Eisenverarbeitung und der Maschinenbau.

Neben dem Verwaltungssitz Lipezk mit rund 505.000 Einwohnern hat noch die Stadt Jelez größere Bedeutung.

Die erste hyperboloide Struktur in der Welt - der Stahldurchbrucharbeit-Gitter-Turm - wurde in Polibino, Dankovsky Bezirk des Lipetsk Oblast errichtet. Der hyperboloid Turm wurde 1896 vom berühmten russischen Ingenieur und Wissenschaftler Wladimir Grigorjewitsch Schuchow gebaut.
