Den Namen USS United States trugen vier Schiffe der United States Navy, allerdings wurde nur eines auch unter diesem Namen in Dienst gestellt:

  • USS United States (1797), eine Fregatte aus dem britisch-amerikanischen Krieg
  • USS United States (CC-6), ein Schlachtkreuzer der Lexington-Klasse, nach 12% Baufortschritt gestoppt und zerlegt
  • USS United States (CVA-58), ein Flugzeugträger, der fünf Tage nach Kiellegung wieder abgebrochen wurde
  • CVN-75 wurde als United States auf Kiel gelegt, aus politischen Gründen aber während des Baus in USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75)'umbenannt
