Ulrich Drepper

Ulrich Drepper ist der Chefentwickler und Verwalter des „GNU C standard library“-Projektes, glibc[1].

Drepper erlangte sein Diplom im Fach Informatik an der Universität Karlsruhe[2]. Ab 1996 arbeitete er für die Firma Cygnus Solutions[2]. Ab 1999, bis September 2010, war er dann Mitarbeiter des Linux-Distributors Red Hat und lebt derzeit in Kalifornien. Seit Oktober 2010 arbeitet er für Goldman Sachs [3]. Des Weiteren ist er Mitglied im x86open-Projekt[4] und Autor von Fachartikeln über Systemprogrammierung[5][6].
