Der Cardrona River ist ein Fluss in der Region Otago auf der Südinsel Neuseelands. Er ist zusammen mit dem nur etwa 700 m früher zufließenden Hunter River einer der ersten Zuflüsse des Clutha River fünf Kilometer nach dessen Ursprung am Abfluss des Lake Wanaka.

Der Cardrona fließt das schmale, steilwandige Cardrona Valley für 40 km nach Norden. Hier befindet sich eine der schwierigsten Straßen Neuseelands, die Crown Range Road. Auf dieser Straße liegt der kleine Ort Cardrona, westlich davon der Berg Mount Cardrona und das Skigebiet Cardrona. Der Fluss kreuzt östlich von Wanaka den State Highway 6 und mündet dann bei Albert Town in den Clutha.
