Let Me Blow Ya Mind ist die zweite Single von Eves zweiten Album Scorpion. Die Single, die 2001 veröffentlicht wurde, (ein Duett mit Gwen Stefani) platzierte sich auf Platz 2 in den U.S. Charts; Platz 29 in Kanada und Platz 4 in Großbritannien. Der Song gewann 2002 einen Grammy in der Kategorie Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, welche damals als neue Kategorie entstand. Das Musikvideo gewann 2001 den MTV Video Music Award in der Kategorie Best Female Video. Let Me Blow Ya Mind ist bis heute Eves erfolgreichster Song. Er stürmte weltweit fast in jedem Land die Charts und gilt als Eves kommerzieller Durchbruch.

Musikvideo

Im Musikvideo werden Gwen Stefani und Eve von einer Party ausgeschlossen. Eine ältere Frau hat einen Auftritt im Musikvideo: Sie hat starke Ähnlichkeiten mit Leona Helmsley. Sie ruft die Polizei wegen der Beiden an. Am Ende des Videos hat Dr. Dre einen Auftritt, bei dem er ins Gefängnis kommt und Eve & Gwen befreit. Weitere Gäste sind Ruff Ryders, Jadakiss und Styles P mit Cameo-Auftritten; DMX ist einer der Polizisten.

Verkäufe

Der Song war 2001 und 2002 eine der bestverkauften Singles in Großbritannien.
