Johann Friedrich Christian Düffer (* 15. Juli 1775 in Aurich, Ostfriesland; † 11. Januar 1831 in Halle) war seit 1805 Privatdozent, seit 1810 außerordentlicher Professor und seit 1817 ordentlicher Professor der Pharmakologie und Pharmazie an der Universität Halle-Wittenberg.

Düffer hatte eine Schlüsselstellung für die Etablierung der Pharmazie in der medizinischen Wissenschaft. Er starb 1831, erst 55 Jahre alt, an der „Brustwassersucht“ (wahrscheinlich Pleuraergüsse).
