En Harod (hebräisch עין חרוד) ist eine der ersten großen Kibbuz-Gründungen; der Ort liegt am Fuß des Berges Gilboa, nahe der Harod-Quelle, im Norden Israels.

En Harod wurde am 22. September 1921[1] von jungen, aus Russland stammenden Arbeiterinnen und Arbeitern der Gdud haAwoda gegründet, zu denen unter anderem der Schriftsteller Avraham Shlonsky zählte. 1930 zog die Siedlung nach dem nahen Kumi Tel-Josef um. Jitzchak Tabenkin schloss sich 1924 En Harod an und machte es zum Zentrum der Kibbuzbewegung HaKibbutz haMeuchad. Janusz Korczak besuchte En Harod auf seinen Palästinareisen 1934 und 1936.

1953 kam es wegen ideologischer Differenzen zur Spaltung in die benachbarten Siedlungen En Harod Ihud und En Harod Meuchad.

Heute gibt es in En Harod, das wieder vereinigt ist, ein großes Kunstmuseum, Landwirtschaft, Industrie und archäologische Sehenswürdigkeiten.
