Huckleberry „Huck“ Seed (* 30. November 1968) ist ein amerikanischer professioneller Pokerspieler.

Seed studierte Elektrotechnik am California Institute of Technology, war ein Top College Basketball Spieler, nahm aber 1989 eine lange Auszeit, um Poker zu spielen, und kehrte nicht mehr an sein College zurück.

Seed gewann das Hauptturnier der World Series of Poker 1996 (WSOP) und damit den ersten Preis von einer Million Dollar. Er schaffte es auch 1999 nochmals an den Finaltisch, erreichte dort nur den sechsten Platz, da er vom späteren Sieger Noel Furlong bezwungen wurde. Er gewann insgesamt vier Armbänder bei der World Series.

Oftmals wird Seed als einschüchternd betrachtet, da er 2,01 Meter groß ist und selten am Tisch redet. Als gieriger Aussagewettspieler verlor Huck, oder „Huckleberry“, wie er manchmal genannt werden möchte, einmal 50.000 Dollar in einer Wette gegen Phil Hellmuth. Er wettete, dass er 24 Stunden am Stück im Wasser treiben könnte. Danach gewann er 24.000 Dollar zurück, indem er gegen Hellmuth für einen Einsatz von 2.000 Dollar pro Spiel 9 Ball spielte.

Bis dato gewann er mehr als 3.425.000 $ in Turnieren.
