Manicouagan River

Der Manicouagan ist ein Fluss in Québec, Kanada. Er entspringt im Südosten Quebecs und fließt ungefähr 560 Kilometer nach Süden durch den Manicouagan-Stausee, um bei Baie-Comeau in den Sankt-Lorenz-Strom zu münden. Die Wasserkraft wird durch mehrere Kraftwerke genutzt.

Es wird angenommen, dass der Name aus der Montagnaissprache kommt und „wo Birken gefunden werden“ bedeutet.
