No Money

Okane ga nai (jap. お金がないっ), auch als No Money bekannt, ist eine Romanreihe von Hitoyo Shinozaki, die auch als Manga-, Anime- und Hörspielserie umgesetzt wurde. Sie beschreibt eine erotische Beziehung zwischen zwei Männern und gehört so ins Yaoi-Genre. Seit 1999 sind elf Romane erschienen.

Handlung

Yukiya Ayase ist ein achtzehnjähriger Universitätsstudent. Sein einziger Verwandter, sein Cousin Tetsuo, verkauft ihn in einer Auktion an den höchsten Bieter, um seine Schulden begleichen zu können. Der reiche Somuku Kanou, den Ayase von früher her zu kennen scheint, gibt das höchste Gebot ab und schlägt vor, dass Ayase sich frei kaufen könne, indem er seinen Körper anbietet.

Veröffentlichungen

Manga

In Japan sind seit 2002 bislang sechs Bände beim Gentōsha-Verlag erschienen. Toru Kōsaka zeichnet den Manga nach der Geschichte von Hitoyo Shinozaki. Derzeit wird Okane ga nai in Einzelkapiteln im alle zwei Monate erscheinenden Manga-Magazin Comic Magazine Lynx veröffentlicht.

Deutsche Verlage haben eine Veröffentlichung des Mangas wegen des minderjährigen Aussehens von Ayase abgelehnt.

Anime

Im Februar 2007 erschien die erste Folge einer Anime-Serie auf Basis des Mangas, die als Original Video Animation direkt auf DVD veröffentlicht wurde. Drei weitere sollen folgen. Regie bei dem Anime führt Makoto Sokuza, während das Charakterdesign aus der Feder von Sawako Yamamoto stammt.

Das Unternehmen Anime Virtual will den Anime 2009 auf Deutsch auf DVD veröffentlichen.[1]
