Die Region Huánuco (span. Región Huánuco, Departamento de Huánuco) ist eine Region in den zentralperuanischen Anden. Auf einer Fläche von 36.848,85 km2 leben 730.871 Menschen (2005). Die Hauptstadt ist Huánuco.

Geographie

Das Teilgebirge Huayhuash prägt das Landschaftsbild. Der höchste Berg ist der Yerupajá mit 6.632 Metern. Der Fluss Marañón begrenzt das Land im Westen und der Huallaga durchschneidet die Region und fließt an der Hauptstadt vorbei.
