Platinum Dunes

Platinum Dunes ist eine Filmproduktionsfirma. Sie wurde von den Produzenten Michael Bay, Andrew Form und Brad Fuller im Jahre 2003 gegründet, um vornehmlich Neuverfilmungen erfolgreicher Horrorfilme der 1970er zu produzieren. Die ersten beiden Produktionen der Firma, die Remakes von Texas Chainsaw Massacre und Amityville Horror, spielten weltweit jeweils mehr als 100 Millionen Dollar ein.

Am 27. Mai 2010 wurde bekannt das Platinum Dunes das Reboot der Comicverfilmung Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles produzieren wird, damit wäre es der erste nicht Horrorfilm für Platinum Dunes.[1]
