Der Flughafen Bur Sudan (engl. Port Sudan Airport, Port Sudan New International Airport oder Port Sudan International Airport) ist ein Verkehrsflughafen in der Nähe der Hafenstadt Bur Sudan (Sudan).
Flugunfälle
Am 8. Juli 2003 kollidierte eine Boeing 737-2J8C von Sudan Airways rund fünf Kilometer östlich vom Flughafen Bur Sudan mit der Oberfläche. Sie war auf dem Weg vom Flughafen Bur Sudan zum Flughafen Khartum als 15 Minuten nach dem Start ein Triebwerk ausfiel. Daraufhin kehrte die Maschine um und versuchte zum Flughafen Bur Sudan zurückzukehren. Ein Sandsturm mit einer Sichtweite von 2,5 Meilen verhinderte die Sichtung der Landebahn, und das Flugzeug trat ungeplant mit dem Boden in Kontakt und zerschellte. Dabei kamen alle 11 Besatzungsmitglieder und 105 Passagiere ums Leben - ein Passagier überlebte.
