Der Flughafen Portland (Maine) (Portland International Jetport; (IATA-Code: PWM; ICAO-Code: KPWM) ist ein internationaler Verkehrsflughafen nahe Portland (Maine) im Nordosten der Vereinigten Staaten.
Er wurde in den späten 1920er Jahren eröffnet (Portland Westbrook Municipal), in den 50er Jahren zum Regionalflugplatz ausgebaut und befindet sich 2,9 km von der Stadt entfernt. Er liegt auf einer Höhe von 23,5 m. Er verfügt über zwei Start-/Landebahnen und ist der größte Flughafen des Bundesstaates. Die Landebahn 11/29 wurde 1957 gebaut und 1966 auf 6.800 Fuß (2.073 m) verlängert. Das Terminal wurde 1968 zum Beginn des Jetzeitalters eröffnet.
2004 wurde die Landebahn erneut verlängert, nun auf 7.200 Fuß (2.195 m).
Sonstiges
Am 1. Juli 2005 landete in Portland erstmals ein Flugzeug nach einem Transatlantikflug, es handelte sich um eine Boeing 757 der amerikanischen Primaris Airlines.
