Ein Dunenjunges oder Pullus (lateinisch, Plural Pulli) ist ein eben geschlüpfter Vogel oder ein Nestling. Der Name Dunenjunges beschreibt einen Jungvogel mit dem ersten Federkleid. Dieses besteht aus den sogenannten weichen Dunenfedern, welche jedoch nicht mit den eigentlichen Dunen zu verwechseln sind, sondern modifizierte Konturfedern darstellen. Trotzdem hat sich aufgrund ihrer Weichheit und dem "plüschigen" Aussehen und Anfühlen der Begriff Dune etabliert.
