Qadiriya

Die Qadiriyya (arabischقادرية‎, DMG Qādirīya) ist einer der ältesten islamischen mystischen Sufi-Orden (Tariqa) und geht zurück auf den persischen Mystiker Abd al-Qadir al-Dschilani (1088 - 1166).

Der Orden ist einer der weitestverbreiteten in der islamischen Welt. Noch heute finden sich Anhänger in Indien, Pakistan, der Türkei, den Balkan-Staaten sowie in Ost- und Westafrika.
