Remote Data Entry (RDE) dient der Erfassung von Daten mit elektronischen Formularen an (typischerweise verschiedenen) Orten, die nicht mit dem Ort der Speicherung identisch sind. In der Praxis ist der Begriff gleichbedeutend zu Electronic Data Capture.
