Robotman ist ein Show-Künstler oder Walk Act-Künstler, der sich wie ein Roboter bewegt und auf diese Art mit seinem Publikum in Kontakt tritt. Der Künstler nutzt dabei die Bewegungstechniken aus Breakdance und Pantomime. Die Figur wird durch Bewegung charakterisiert, nicht durch Posen wie moderne Versionen der Tableaux vivants, z. B. die Living Mannequins.
