Lucie Silvas

Lucie Silvas (* 4. September 1977) ist eine britische Sängerin und Song-Schreiberin.

Lucie Silvas verbrachte ihre Kindheit in Neuseeland. Sie begann mit fünf Jahren mit Klavierspielen und schrieb mit zehn ihr erstes Liebeslied. Zurück in England studierte sie Musik am College. Mit 17 traf sie Gary Barlow und begleitete ihn auf dessen "Open Road Tour". Es folgte der erste Plattenvertrag, sie unterstützte Macy Gray und M People, traf auf Chris Martin von Coldplay, der von ihrer Stimme begeistert ist.

Lucie Silvas hat mit dem Schreiben von Liedern immer noch mehr Erfolg als mit dem Singen. Sie schrieb unter anderem schon Songs für Rachel Stevens, Gareth Gates und Liberty X. 2005 veröffentlichte sie ihr erstes eigenes Album Breathe In mit Eigen- und Fremdkompositionen, wie etwa Nothing Else Matters von Metallica.
