Die St. Margaret’s Chapel ist das älteste noch erhaltene Gebäude in Edinburgh, Schottland.

Es wurde im 12. Jahrhundert erbaut. Es zählt zu einem der am besten noch erhaltenen Bauwerken aus der Epoche der Norman Style in Großbritannien.

Die Legende erzählt, dass Königin Margareta von Schottland in dieser Kapelle getauft wurde, neue Forschungen zeigen aber, dass die Kapelle erst von ihrem vierten Sohn David, welcher 1124 König von Schottland wurde, gebaut wurde.
