SunEdison LLC aus Baltimore ist ein Solarparkbetreiber und nach eigenen Angaben größtes Solarenergie-Serviceunternehmen Nordamerikas.

Jigar Shah gründete das Unternehmen 2003 auf der Basis eines 1999 ausgearbeiteten Unternehmensplans. Die finanzieren, bauen und betreiben die Anlagen.

Dezember 2007 nahmen sie in Alamosa (Colorado) eine Photovoltaik-Anlage mit 8,22 MWp auf 33 ha in Betrieb. Sie soll jährlich zirka 17.000 MWh produzieren.

Ende 2009 wird SunEdison von MEMC übernommen. [1]
