Die 3S Industries AG mit Sitz in Lyss ist ein international tätiger Schweizer Photovoltaikhersteller. Das 2001 gegründete Unternehmen beschäftigt 174 Mitarbeiter und erwirtschaftete im ersten Halbjahr 2008 einen Umsatz 30,5 Millionen Schweizer Franken, nach 26,2 Millionen im Gesamtjahr 2007. Seit September 2005 ist 3S Industries an der Berner Börse BX Berne eXchange kotiert.

Tätigkeitsgebiet

Das Unternehmen umfasst sämtliche drei Schlüsseltechnologien im Bereich der Solarmodulproduktion, Löten, Laminieren und Testen. Die drei Schlüsseltechnologien sind auf drei unabhängig voneinander am Markt auftretenden, auf ihr Spezialgebiet fokussierten Firmen aufgeteilt. Weiter stellt 3S Industries Solarmodule sowie gebäudeintegrierte Solarsysteme her.
