Sympathy ist ein Death-Metal-Projekt aus Kanada.

Biografie

Anfang der 90er Jahre gründete Dharok die Band Sympathy mit drei Freunden in Saskatchewan, Kanada. Zwei Jahre später, nach der ersten Demo-Aufnahme und ein Debüt-Album, verließen die drei Freunde die Band und Dharok spielte von da an alle Instrumente selber. Zwischen 1993 und 1997 nahm Dharok zwei weitere Alben und ein weiteres Demo auf: "Arrogance and Ignorance" (1993), "Age of Darkness" (1995) und "Realms of Choas" (1996)

Im Jahre 2001 entstand das Album "Invocatoin", das 2002 vom Platten-Label "Fear Dark" veröffentlicht wurde. Zwei Jahre später erschien das nächste Album "Arcena Path". Die Musik wird stark von Morbid Angel und Suffocation beeinflusst, klingt aber auch nach Bands wie Dimmu Borgir, kombiniert mit aggressiven Thrash Metal Sound und der Brutalität von Death Metal.
