Tatiana Nikolayeva

Tatjana Petrowna Nikolajewa (russisch Татьяна Петровна Николаева, * 4. Mai 1924 in Beschiza bei Brjansk; † 22. November 1993 in Santa Monica) war eine bedeutende russische Pianistin.

Leben

Sie studierte seit dem Jahr 1942 an der Moskauer Zentralschule für Musik bei Alexander Goldenweiser Klavier und wechselte dann an das Moskauer Konservatorium, wo sie ab 1947 Klavier und ab 1950 bei Jewgeni Golubew Komposition studierte. Seit 1945 trat sie dann erfolgreich zuerst im Ostblock, schon bald darauf aber auch im westlichen Ausland auf. Seit 1959 unterrichtete sie am Moskauer Konservatorium, wo sie 1965 zur Professorin ernannt wurde. Sie gewann im Jahr 1950 den Leipziger Bach-Wettbewerb. Als Komponistin schuf sie vor allem Werke für das Klavier oder für Kammermusikensembles.
