Die Andy Griffith Show ist eine US-amerikanische Fernsehserie, die von Desilu Productions (zuletzt Paramount Television) für CBS produziert wurde. Zwischen 1960 und 1968 entstanden 238 Episoden, verteilt auf acht Staffeln. Die Show war während ihrer gesamten Sendezeit unter den 10 Sendungen mit den besten Einschaltquoten.

Charaktere waren Sheriff Taylor (Andy Griffith), sein Sohn "Opie" (Ron Howard), "Tante Bee" (Frances Bavier), Deputy "Barney Fife" (Don Knotts), "Gomer Pyle" (Jim Nabors), Goober Pyle (George Lindsey) und die fiktive Südstaaten-Stadt Mayberry, North Carolina.

Die Serie wird immer noch täglich im US-Kabelfernsehen ausgestrahlt.
