The Cab

The Cab sind eine US-amerikanische Rockband aus Las Vegas. Sie steht bei Fueled by Ramen beziehungsweise Decaydance Records unter Vertrag. Ihr Debütalbum "Whisper War" wurde am 29. April 2008 veröffentlicht. Laut Alternative Press (AP) sind sie "die Band, die man 2008 kennen sollte".

Geschichte

Alex deLeon und Cash Colligan fingen bereits in der High School mit dem Musikschreiben an und nahmen ein Demo auf, das sie bei MySpace hochluden. Ende 2005 wurden sie mit Gitarrist Paul Garcia, Pianist Alex Marshall und Drummer Alex Johnson komplettiert. Nach zwei Mitgliederwechseln sind sie nun seit Mai 2007 in ihrer aktuellen Besetzung. The Cab haben 2009 auf Punk Goes Pop Vol. 2 ein Cover des Rihanna-Songs "Disturbia" veröffentlicht.
