Die Go-Go’s sind eine Independent-Popband der 1980er-Jahre aus Kalifornien, USA.

Gegründet wurde die Band 1978; bekannt wurden sie durch Auftritte im Vorprogramm einer Madness-Tour.

Hits waren We Got the Beat (Single) und Beauty and the Beat (Album). Nach zwei weiteren Alben (Vacation und Talk Show) löste sich die Band 1985 nach zwei Auftritten bei Rock in Rio auf. Belinda Carlisle startete Ende der 1980er-Jahre eine erfolgreiche Solo-Karriere.

Zur Wiedervereinigung kam es 1990, seitdem wurden die Alben Return to the Valley of the Go-Go’s (1994) und God Bless the Go-Go’s (2001) veröffentlicht.
