Thomas Jones (Football)

Thomas Jones (* 19. August 1978 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia) ist ein US-amerikanischer American-Football-Spieler der National Football League (NFL).

Er spielt als Running Back bei den New York Jets, wo er seit 2007 unter Vertrag steht. Jones, der an der University of Virginia College Football spielte, war siebter Overall Draft-Pick im NFL-Draft 2000, gedraftet von den Arizona Cardinals. Später wurde er an die Tampa Bay Buccaneers im Austausch gegen den Wide Receiver Marquise Walker verkauft und 2004 als Free Agent von den Chicago Bears unter Vertrag genommen.
