Tibiotarsus

Tibiotarsus bezeichnet einen Unterschenkelknochen der Vögel, der aus der Verschmelzung des Schienbeins (Tibia) mit der oberen Reihe der Fußwurzelknochen (Astragalus und Calcaneus) hervorgegangen ist. Innerhalb der Gliederfüßer findet sich der Tibiotarsus auch bei den Entognatha.
