Tune Up!

DJ Manian (bürgerlich Manuel Reuter) ist ein erfolgreicher DJ und Musikproduzent und Label-Besitzer im Bereich der kommerziellen elektronischen Tanzmusik. Grundsätzlich lässt sich sein Stil in das Genre Hands Up einordnen, daneben fallen allerdings einige seiner Veröffentlichungen auch in die Bereiche Trance und House. DJ Manian steckt hinter zahlreichen Projekten, wie z. B. Cascada und „R.I.O.“ (zusammen mit Yanou), „Spencer & Hill“, „Tune Up!“, „Bulldozzer“, „Phalanx“ (jeweils mit Manuel Schleis), „Scarf!“, „Plazmatek“, und vielen mehr. Neben seiner Tätigkeit als Produzent wird Manuel Reuter auch als DJ regelmäßig in bekannten europäischen Discotheken gebucht.

Besonders zu erwähnen ist sein Erfolg mit Cascada und dem Track „Everytime We Touch“, mit dem er Anfang 2006 die Top Ten der US-Charts erreichte. Die Single wurde 2003 bereits von Manuel Reuter & Markus Beilke als Auftragsproduktion (Remix) für Lacara [1] produziert, hatte damals aber, kommerziell gesehen, wenig Erfolg. In Deutschland stieg Cascada – „Everytime We Touch“ am 19. Januar 2007 auf Platz 8 der Singlecharts ein.

Ende 2005 gründete er gemeinsam mit dem Produzenten Yanou das Label „Zooland Records“.
