Polysorbat 65, auch Tween® 65 (IUPAC-Nomenklatur Polyoxyethylen-sorbitan-tristearat) ist ein künstlich hergestelltes Tensid (Emulgator). Es ist als Lebensmittelzusatzstoff der Nummer E 436 zugelassen.

Hergestellt wird es durch Umsetzung eines Anhydrids von Sorbit (eines sogenannten Sorbitans - 1,4-Sorbitanhydrid; Strukturformel siehe Sorbitanfettsäureester) mit Ethylenoxid und anschließender Veresterung mit Stearinsäure. Polysorbat 65 ist wie ein natürliches Fett biologisch abbaubar.
