Die Goldeule oder Neu-Britannien-Schleiereule (Tyto aurantia) ist eine Art aus der Gattung der Schleiereulen (Tyto). Sie lebt im Inselbereich von Neu-Britannien in den Schluchten der Bergregionen. Ihre Flügellänge liegt zwischen 220 und 330 Millimetern. Auffällig sind rotbraune und schwarze Bänder, die sich an den Handschwingen abwechseln. Die Fänge sind relativ schwach ausgebildet. Von den Einheimischen wird diese Eule aufgrund ihres Rufes akakaula, akaka oder a kaika genannt.
