Vitali Samoilov

Vitālijs Samoilovs (auch Witali Anatoljewitsch Samoilow, russisch Виталий Анатольевич Самойлов; * 19. April 1962 in Riga) ist ein ehemaliger lettischer Eishockeyspieler.

Karriere

Während seiner Karriere spielte er bei Dinamo Riga und HK Sokol Kiew. Insgesamt stand er bei 231 Spielen in der sowjetischen Liga im Tor. So wurde er in das Team der Sowjetischen Eishockeynationalmannschaft berufen. Am 1. November 1986 stand er in einem Spiel gegen die Tschechoslowakei zum ersten Mal für die Sbornaja auf dem Eis. Seine internationale Karriere wurde mit der Goldmedaille bei den Olympischen Winterspielen 1988 gekrönt. Für die Nationalmannschaft stand er bei 10 Länderspielen zwischen den Pfosten. Am 20. Mai 1988 bestritt er sein letztes Länderspiel.
