Wladimir Dawidowitsch Baranow-Rossiné (russisch Владимир Давидович Баранов-Россине; * 1888 in Cherson; † 1944 im KZ Auschwitz-Birkenau) war ein ukrainisch-russischer Maler und avangardistischer Künstler.
Leben
1903 bis 1907 studierte er an der Russischen Kunstakademie. 1908 machte er in Kiew mit der russischen avantgardistischen Künstlergruppe Zveno eine Ausstellung. 1910 bis 1914 war er in Paris in der Künstlerkolonie La Ruche. Hier arbeitete er unter dem Namen Daniel Rossiné. 1916 hatte er eine Ausstellung in Oslo. 1916 entwickelte er sein Optophonic Piano. 1919 heiratete er seine erste Frau, die aber bei der Geburt seines ersten Sohnes Eugène (1920–1997) starb. 1922 war er Lehrer am Wchutemas. 1923 heiratete er Pauline Cemionovna Boukour (1900–1979), mit der er drei Kinder hatte: Michel (1928–1935), Tatiana (* 1934) und Dimitri (* 1942 in Paris). 1924 stellte er sein Optophonic Piano am Bolschoi-Theater vor. 1925 emigrierte er nach Frankreich, wo er 1927 die Optophonik Akademie gründete. Während des 2. Weltkrieges wurde er, auf Grund seines jüdischen Glaubens, in das KZ Auschwitz-Birkenau deportiert und starb dort im Jahr 1944.
