Beaverlodge ist eine Kleinstadt im nördlichen Alberta, Kanada mit 2.264 Einwohnern.

Hauptstraße von Beaverlodge

Die an der Grenze zu British Columbia gelegene Stadt verfügt über mehrere Schulen, darunter eine Grundschule, eine katholische Schule und eine Highschool, die Beaverlodge Regional High School. Des Weiteren wurde 2004 eine große Statue eines Bibers, des Wappentiers der Stadt, enthüllt, die vom Highway aus zu sehen ist. Beaverlodge ist der Geburtsort des Eishockeyspielers Matt Walker.

Demografie

Die auf 732m Höhe liegende Stadt hatte 2006 eine Bevölkerung von 2.264, die sich auf 950 Haushalte verteilte. Bei einer Fläche von 5,58km² ergibt sich eine Bevölkerungsdichte von 405,9 Einwohnern pro Quadratkilometern.[1]
