Russo-Baltique Expression

a:level ist ein offiziell seit 2004 existierendes Design-Atelier aus Moskau. Seit 2007 bietet das Unternehmen ihr erstes Serienfahrzeug unter dem Markennamen Russo-Baltique an.

a:level Wolga V12 Coupé

Die Firma machte auf dem Genfer Automobilsalon 2004 mit seinem Wolga V12 Coupé, einem 4,85 Meter langen Zweitürer ganz in Schwarz, auf sich aufmerksam. Die üppige Breite von 1,92 Meter trug maßgeblich zum Aufsehen erregenden Auftritt des repräsentativen Wagens bei. Anfragen zu Preis und Lieferzeiten des reichlich mit Chromzierrat und dem klassischen Wolga-Grill versehenen Coupés werden mit dem Hinweis beantwortet, dass dieses Auto kein zweites Mal gebaut wird. Vielmehr sei es das Ziel des Unternehmens, Unikate zu entwickeln und zu produzieren.

Das Wolga V12 Coupé entstand in 17-monatiger Arbeit auf Wunsch eines russischen Auftraggebers. Für die Motorisierung des Fahrzeugs sorgt die Antriebstechnik des BMW 850 CSi. Unter der langen und breiten Fronthaube steckt ein 5,6-Liter-Zwölfzylinder mit 380 PS und 550 Newtonmeter Drehmoment, der mit einem Sechsganggetriebe kombiniert ist.

Russo-Baltique Expression

Dem Firmenvorsatz, nur Unikate zu bauen, wurde a:level Anfang 2007 untreu und präsentierte den Russo-Baltique Expression. Mit diesem will das Moskauer Design-Atelier die ehemalige Marke Russo-Balt wiederbeleben. Der Prototyp hat eine Länge von 5,20 Metern und bietet fünf Personen Platz. Technisch basiert er auf dem Mercedes-Benz CL 65 AMG. In Serie ist der Russo-Baltique Expression mit 555 PS und einem Basispreis von 1,45 Millionen Euro im Angebot.
