Jolante, Jolanthe, Jolande, Jolanda, Iolanda, Jolanta, Jolantha oder Jolanthe ist ein weiblicher Vorname. Der Name stammt aus dem Griechischen und bedeutet „Veilchenblüte“. Seit dem Lustspiel „Krach um Jolanthe“ von August Hinrichs (1930), in dem ein Schwein diesen Namen trägt, ist der Vorname in Deutschland außer Gebrauch gekommen.[1]
