Zadran

Zadran ist ein Bezirk der Provinz Paktia, welche im Südosten Afghanistans liegt. Zadran ist zugleich in mehrere Clans bzw. Gebieten unterlegt, z. B. Turkhel, Shebekhel, Sultan Khel, Plangai, Surikhil. Die genaue Erfassung der Bevölkerung von Zadran ist nicht bekannt, jedoch wird sie auf ungefähr 500.000 geschätzt, wobei sich viele auch im Ausland aufhalten.

Zadran sind ein Paschtu sprechender Stamm.
