Zinacantan ist eine Kommune (Municipio) mexikanischen Bundesstaat Chiapas. Sie hat rund 30.000 Einwohner und liegt zwischen den Städten San Cristobal de las Casas und Tuxtla Gutiérrez (Hauptstadt von Chiapas). Die Kommune wird zu 99 Prozent von Angehörigen des Volkes der Tzotzil bewohnt; dabei handelt es sich Ureinwohner Mexikos und Nachfahren der Maya-Kultur. Die wichtigste wirtschaftliche Aktivität in Zinacantan ist die Blumenzucht, die zu einem großen Teil in Gewächshäusern stattfindet.
