Provinz Khost in Afghanistan

Khost ist eine Provinz in Afghanistan mit der Provinzhauptstadt Khost (33° 20′ N, 69° 55′ ONN ).

Die Provinz gehört zum Siedlungsgebiet der Paschtunen, das durch die Durand-Linie geteilt wird, und grenzt im Osten an Waziristan, einem pakistanischen Stammesgebiet unter Bundesverwaltung.
