Biodesign ist ein Sammelbegriff für einen stilistischen Trend, der in den späten 1980er Jahren durch das entstehende Bewusstsein für Umweltthemen geprägt wurde und sich insbesondere im Produkt- und Automobildesign niederschlug. Ein Vorreiter des Biodesigns war der Industriedesigner Luigi Colani.
