Karte von Bream Head

Bream Head ist eine Landzunge an der Ostküste der Region Northland auf der Nordinsel Neuseelands. Sie bildet das Ende einer 30 km langen Halbinsel und ragt südöstlich von Whangarei in den Pazifik. Die Hen and Chickens Islands liegen etwa 12 km vor der Halbinsel im Meer.

Auf Bream Head liegt ein 490 m hoher Fels, der Überrest eines Andesit-Vulkans aus dem Miozän. Die Halbinsel bildet den Norden der Bream Bay und schützt den äußeren Teil der Zufahrt zum Whangarei Harbour.

Nördlich schließt sich an die Landzunge der lange Sandstrand Ocean Beach an, bis dorthin ist auch die Zufahrt möglich. Nördlich von Bream Head liegen die zwei kleinen Bream Islands.
