AX25

AX25

AX.25 ist ein standardisiertes Protokoll, um Daten über einen Funk-Kanal zu übertragen. Es ist hauptsächlich verbindungsorientiert, aber es lässt auch die Übertragung von verbindungslosen Daten zu. Ist die Übertragung der Daten auf dem Funkkanal gestört, wird mehrfach versucht die verlorenen Daten noch einmal zu übertragen. Es wurde dem X.25 Protokoll nachempfunden und auf die Bedingungen im Amateurfunk angepasst. Im Amateurfunk wird AX.25 in den Betriebsarten Packet Radio und APRS genutzt. Es folgt der Vorgabe des OSI-Modell und realisiert es bis zur Schicht 2. Darauf aufsetzende Protokolle sind Flexnet und INP3.
