C2B

Consumer-To-Business (C2B) steht für (elektronische) Kommunikationsbeziehungen zwischen Privatpersonen (Kunden) und mehreren Unternehmen.

Bei C2B-Plattformen sind – im Gegensatz zu B2C-Plattformen – die Kunden diejenigen, die Käufer, also Unternehmen suchen. Unter diese Kategorie fallen meist Communities, die dem Kunden helfen sollen, einen passenden Käufer für eine Ware oder Dienstleistung zu finden, also das Gegenteil zum traditionellen Verkaufsmodell (Unternehmen bieten an, Kunden kaufen).

Dieses invertierte Geschäftsmodell wird ermöglicht durch:

  • Viele Leute sind heute an das Internet angeschlossen, wodurch erst eine direkte Verbindung zum Unternehmen hergestellt werden kann.
  • Die Technologie, die früher aus Kostengründen nur Unternehmen zur Verfügung stand, steht jetzt vielen Einzelpersonen zur Verfügung:
    • Drucken (in guter Qualität)
    • fortgeschrittene Computer
    • direkte Verbindung(Internet)
