British Ecological Society

Die British Ecological Society (BES) ist die wissenschaftliche Fachgesellschaft für Ökologie im Vereinigten Königreich.

Die Gesellschaft wurde 1913 gegründet und hat weltweit ca. 4000 Mitglieder. Die Mitgliedschaft steht jedem Interessierten auch außerhalb des Vereinigten Königreichs offen. Die BES gibt die weltweit anerkannten Fachmagazine Journal of Applied Ecology und Journal of Animal Ecology heraus.
