Capgras

Jean Marie Joseph Capgras (* 1873 in Verdun-sur-Garonne; † 1950 in Paris) war ein französischer Psychiater.

Er schloss sein Medizin-Studium in Toulouse ab. Später war er Direktor der psychiatrischen Klink „Sainte Anna“ in Paris. Diese verließ er nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg und verbrachte seine letzten Lebensjahre in Dijon, wo er 1950 einen Herzinfarkt erlitt, an dessen Folgen er schließlich starb. Joseph Capgras ist Erstbeschreiber des 1929 nach ihm genannten Capgras-Syndromes [1].
