Das International Water Management Institute (IWMI) ist eine international tätige Forschungseinrichtung, deren Ziel eine Verbesserung des Managements von Land- und Wasserressourcen im Hinblick auf Ernährungssicherheit, Armut und Umwelt. IWMI wurde 1985 gegründet und ist eines der 15 Institute der Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research. Der Hauptsitz ist in Colombo, daneben gibt es Standorte in 10 asiatischen und afrikanischen Ländern.
