Kelly Overett (* 19. März 1972 in Ipswich) ist eine britische Sängerin und Tänzerin.

Leben

Kelly Overett begann ihre Karriere als Sängerin und Tänzerin in der Gruppe Sl2, in der sie mit anderen Künstler die Gruppe bildete. Zudem war sie nebenbei schon seit ihrem 17. Lebensjahr bei einigen TV-Shows als Tänzerin zu sehen. Bekanntheit gewann sie an der Seite von Rodney Bishop in der Eurodance-Gruppe "Cappella" in der sie im Jahr 1993 einstieg. Nachdem sie sich wieder rum im Jahr 1995 von der Gruppe trennte, startete sie ihre Solo-Karriere. Ihr bis heute einziger Song "Follow your heart", den sie unter ihrem Künstlernamen "Kelly-O" veröffentlichte, konnte keine großen Erfolge anknüpfen und wurde nur in England veröffentlicht. Seitdem wurde es sehr ruhig um Kelly Overett. Zudem wurde bekannt, dass Kelly Overett nicht die wahre Sängerin der Songs von Cappella war.
