Mixotoxodon war eine Gattung der ausgestorbenen Notoungulata, die im Pleistozän in den nördlichen Teilen Südamerikas und in Mittelamerika vorkam. Die Tiere sahen der nah verwandten Gattung Toxodon ähnlich und dürften eine ähnliche ökologische Nische, wohl vergleichbar der eines heutigen Flusspferds, besetzt haben. Die Art Mixotoxodon larensis überlebte bis ins späte Pleistozän.
